WEEK 1 is OVER

Hey Everyone,

Thanks for taking the time to read my blog. Well after just 6 days I lost 5.3 lbs. Not bad for my first week... I've been killing it in the gym by doing tons of cardio. I find that I get the best burn is on the treadmill when I'm on random walking for 5 and running for 5min.

I'm following the weight watchers program for the eating phase of the diet. I find that it really works for me. It's all about a point system and since they changed the formula of how to calculate points from the old way to a new way, I'm catching on.

I was happy for myself on saturday some friends and I went for dinner. Usually dinner means appetizer and a big fattening dish... Not this past saturday... It was a nice turkey sandwich with no sauces and a salad. It was actually really good...

Something I learned this week... a lot of us use food to be social or to indulge in... Indulgence is fun every once and awhile but there are so many other things to do.... Next time you go out for dinner order something healthy and instead of all your hope into what the food your getting is going to be all about, think about the people your sharing your dinning experience with, Talk tell jokes. You will notice sometimes the dinner out doesn't have to be just about the food, but the experience of talking to one another and sharing a moment with the ones you love...
